چکیده

Abstract Background and Aims Glomerulonephritis is one of the most common causes chronic kidney disease (CKD). Causes glomerular diseases include lupus nephritis (LN), focal segmental glomerulonephritis (FSGS) minimal change (MCD). The hallmark CKD renal fibrosis characterized by an imbalanced turnover extracellular matrix (ECM) components associated with increased inflammation. aim for this study was to screen a biomarker panel based on remodeling biomarkers as well fibrotic activity inflammation biomarkers. Additionally, identify that are differentially expressed in compared healthy differently between different etiologies. Method included 79 controls (age (median years): 35, sex (%women): 51), 48 patients LN (age: 39, sex: 63), 13 FSGS 44, 23), 14 MCD 51, 47). following were measured serum and/or urine samples from all 154 subjects: • Interstitial biomarkers; formation collagen type III (PRO-C3) VI (PRO-C6), degradation (C3M). Basement membrane MMP-mediated IV (C4M, C4G, TUM), laminin (LG1M) perlecan (LG3). Two activity; acetylated N-terminal alpha-smooth muscle actin (αSMA) transforming growth factor β (TGF-β). An calprotectin (CPa9-HNE) reflecting neutrophil activity. Results Overall, three showed same trend (either no change, increase or decrease controls) levels. There significant PRO-C3, PRO-C6, TUM, LG1M, αSMA, CPa9-HNE serum, C3M C4M heathy controls. Four In C4G levels significantly higher FSGS, LG1M MCD, (all, P<0.05). urine, TUM (P<0.05). Conclusion data presented indicate both interstitial basement reflect changes take place during development diseases. Some these markers may be able distinguish etiologies including hardly differentiated MCD. This needs tested larger studies.
